Set-up and dismantling
Set-up: Sunday, January 22, 2023, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm* (quiet workings are possible until 6.00 pm)
Set-up in the exhibition hall ( Hall 2): Small construction and decoration work can still be carried out within the stand area until 6 pm. The halls will be closed at around 7.00 pm NO exhibitor passes are required during set-up. Please note that it is not possible to enter the exhibition halls by car, since carpeting has already been laid in the hall.
Loga stand systems from exhibitors who have not ordered wallpapering, the construction of which did not begin by 12.00 pm on the set-up day, will be wallpapered at the exhibitor's expense, unless otherwise provided. Exceptions require the written approval of the organizer.
Octanorm stand systems (with or without a fascia board) are fitted with cross-bracing struts for stabilisation. These are a fixed part of the stand and may not be removed. The position, size and quantity of crossbars are determined by the size of the stand and by the stands in the direct vicinity of the stand location. Additional assembly days:
If a longer construction time is necessary due to special structures, in urgent cases - if the hall capacities allow this - a written application for approval can be submitted to the event management. The application must be received by Messe Freiburg at least 4 weeks before the start of the fair. Additional assembly days are not possible in all halls and are subject to a charge in any case. The fee for an additional set-up day from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm is EUR 250.00.

Dismantling times: Wednesday, January 25, 2023 7.00 pm - Thursday, January 26, 2023 12.00 am*. Dismantling is possible throughout this period. No exhibitor passes are required during dismantling.
Loading and unloading: Depending on availability, you can park your vehicle in the Andienungshof and bring the materials into the hall. Please note that it is not possible to enter the exhibition halls by car, since carpeting has already been laid in the halls.

IKF lounge
The IKF lounge is where you can order services and edit your listing for the catalogue and the online list of exhibitors. You will receive your login details for the IKF lounge after completing registration and receiving official confirmation from the IKF team. The lounge reopens from early summer on.
Logistics and dispatch
Upon request and after consultation with the IKF team, you can send advertising materials and equipment for your stand to Messe Freiburg in advance of or during the event. We are happy to accept your materials after prior registration, but we accept no liability. If you are planning a delivery to Messe Freiburg, please contact us in advance.

Parking facilities
Messe Freiburg has a demarcated and guarded delivery yard with a limited number of parking spaces that you can use during the event. There are further parking facilities in the large unguarded visitors' car park in front of the building. The parking fee is 4,- Euro/day. The parking fee can be paid at any time. To avoid waiting at the pay station, the daily fee can be paid directly after arrival. From 4 a.m. the parking fee is due again. Payment by credit card, EC card or cash is possible at the parking machines.

Invoice
- The invoice for your participation at IKF will be sent to you electronically six weeks before the event and is due immediately.
- For joint stands, all services related to the IKF presentation will be charged to the principal exhibitor. The principal exhibitor is the determining factor for taxation.
- Value-added tax: Participants from Germany are subject to VAT without exception. Foreign exhibitors with their own stand may be exempt from this 19 % VAT on submission of the necessary supporting documents.
Service orders
- Additional services for your stand presentation may be ordered in the IKF lounge. All orders are placed and invoiced via the principal exhibitor.

Accommodation
- Relax after a busy day at the trade fair in your lodgings or discover some of Freiburg's most beautiful spots. We have put together the most important information and addresses for you in the section Directions.
Performances on the stand
- There are no performances and presentations in the exhibitor hall allowed that can be compared to a live performance. The use of amplifiers or microphones is prohibited. Exhibitors are happy to show the audience impressions or extracts from their programs by using laptops.
- If artists or groups want to present themselves to the audience, this is only possible by performing live on one of the five stages after they have applied and have been selected. You can find more information on this in the artists section.
