Blueprint

The sound of the Danish quartet Abekejser works similarly to the playlists of young digital natives – genre boundaries interest no-one anymore here, as long as the ingredients are fun. Heavy hip-hop beats meet creaking synth sounds, echoing rock guitars and a bass that fills the room.What emerges is a highly danceable cocktail of jazztronica and neo-soul, whose catchy melodies only gradually reveal their complex musical structures. On the stage this sound has an absolutely enthralling effect that transforms their live shows into euphoric happenings.
As the follow-up to their 2019 debut album ”Floating Through The Universe” that has already made waves in the Jazz scene in both Britain and Scandinavia, they have just announced the release in the Spring of 2022 of their new album “Blueprint”!
