ANDREAS DOMBERT spielt MINIMAL MUSIC

Guitarist Andreas Dombert is a painter in sound-colours and a tone poet. With his minimal music compositions he enters new territory and conjures sounds from his guitar that have never been heard before, whilst drawing on a musical depth that captivates the audience and talks to them directly. Musical processes that change extremely slowly give the listener a new feel, an “oversupply” of time. What a boon in a world that gets more hectic every minute! Dombert studied jazz guitar at the Nuremberg Music Academy and has worked with many jazz legends. He has won many cultural awards and was nominated in 2017 for the Echo Jazz of the German Phono Academy. The press has said of him variously “an exceptional talent”, “fascinating worlds of sound”, and “genius, drama and living sensuality”.
