Little Bundles of Joy

The international string duo of Belgian violinist Lotte Remmen and French cellist Toby Kuhn formed in 2016 in Slovenia, where their shared curiosity for folk, jazz, and classical traditions grew into Bipolar Bows. Originally classically trained, they found freedom in improvisation and genre-crossing, creating a style that is both daring and deeply expressive. Their second album, Little Bundles of Joy (2024), produced by Adam Pietrykowski, dives into the complexities of the human experience — from playfulness to contemplation, from hope to despair — blending virtuosity with raw emotion. Their music celebrates connection, contrast, and the joy of fearless exploration.
