Carnet de Bal

The creations of "Compagnie Via Verde" mix different disciplines (puppetry, visual arts, dance, light and musical creation) to write a visual and wordless theatre.
“Carnet de Bal“ is evoking the impossibility of a ball. Dancing with a stranger is only possible thanks to the puppet, the only partner that can be approached by the performer. Then begins a somewhat outdated Argentinian tango, reminiscent of a lost time, the tactile time when we danced with each other.
The artistic identity of the Via Verde company is defined by a willingness to cross boundaries towards others, of all ages and cultures. Their shows are textless, visual, resulting from a multidisciplinary set writing, which dialogue with the imagination and the intimate of each.
