DREH DEN SWING AUF!

The Gretchens are right on target for the 20s with their show “Dreh den Swing auf!”. In their current retro a cappella programme, these four fearless females of Gretchens Antwort break down the barriers of genre and period. The legendary Berlin nightlife of the “Roaring Twenties” merges with today’s pulsing Berlin electro clubs. The all-female a cappella band Gretchens Antwort, re-interpreting not just classics from the 20s to the 50s but also arranging contemporary songs from various different genres into their cool, swinging retro style. The DJanes mix swing and rap, charleston and pop, jazz and rock with bewitching vocals and female esprit.
