Warum du morgen noch Leben könntest
Why you might still be alive tomorrow
An autofiction
Life is today. And maybe, just maybe, if it works out, life will still be there tomorrow. But I'll decide that tomorrow morning. Why wait until I'm 80 to tell my story when I've already experienced enough for a whole lifetime at 23? Enough to somehow not be sure whether I'll still be alive tomorrow, or want to be alive. And yet there are so many beautiful and funny things in this life: Cat videos, for example. “Why you might still be alive tomorrow” is a journey through the life of a young woman who lost her father at the age of 6, developed an anxiety disorder at 14, but despite everything became a successful slam poet and cool teacher, and who recounts with a great deal of self-irony how she chooses life again every day.
