Natalie Reckert is a handstand artiste. She balances not just herself but also weird ideas. As a researcher and acrobatic super-heroine, she lets her audience take a peek into the life of an artiste and the toughness of the human body. This body is sometimes invincible, virtuoso and constructed in a complicated way, but it’s often also fragile, transient and made of icing sugar.
For her show at the Kulturbörse, she has put together a spectacular “Best Of” show from her evening, street theatre and gala shows. Natalie Reckert graduated from the National Centre for Circus Arts in London in 2007 and did a study year with Visions in Motion, the School of Contemporary Dance in Kassel in 2009. Natalie won the FREIBURGER LEITER 2020 for her street theatre production „Superheldin aus Zuckerguss“.
