Acoustic Instinct in Concert

The stage an exploding experimental field, the hall a sparkling choral experience: ACOUSTIC INSTINCT combines the

art of human beatboxing with elements of a cappella singing, slapstick, comedy, acting, pantomime, and improvisation.

Without instruments and in the moment, Paul Brenning and Julian Knörzer follow their own unique "acoustic instinct." Together they create extraordinary sounds, give everyday occurrences a new sonic dimension, and spontaneously compose and write radio-friendly hits.

This has a great charm, and the duo's joy in performing is infectious. At some point during the evening, the audience is suddenly right in the thick of things, no longer just a spectator, actively shaping the evening, singing along, and moving – and, almost as an afterthought, learning a life lesson in beatboxing.
