We are in the middle of preparations for the 34th IKF, which will take place from 23 - 26-. January 2022 live on the grounds of Messe Freiburg. Of course, in compliance with the hygiene concept in force at that time, which we will provide for you here on the website.
In the meantime, the jury meetings for the music and performing arts sections have already taken place. The jury for street theatre will meet at the end of September. In the coming weeks we will publish the short performance programme here bit by bit. This much we can already reveal: you can expect an interesting and varied programme. This also applies to the seminars and lectures that we will offer you as part of the FORUM WISSEN.
The longing for live events, for encounters and personal exchange is increasing and our exhibitors want to return to the exhibition halls!
One of the special features of the International Kulturbörse Freiburg has always been that it was a very intensive industry meeting for its visitors, affectionately called a "class reunion" by some. One of the strengths of the IKF lies in the encounters between people, which sometimes take place in a planned way, sometimes by chance. Of course, in the meantime there are corresponding software offers by means of which random encounters can also take place online and at the 34th IKF we will also make some offers available online for our visitors to use - nevertheless:
Nothing can replace this feeling of coming together live on site. This is one of the great advantages that a presence fair can offer its visitors.
A freshly designed, high-quality magazine in DIN A 4 format will be published for the 34th IKF, replacing the previous IKF catalogue. It will be considerably lighter in weight than the catalogue, but will still provide you with all the relevant information in a condensed form. In addition, we will provide detailed information on our website about the entire programme, all the artists performing and the agencies represented.
We will keep you informed about further innovations and the status of our planning in the coming weeks.
We hope that the 34th IKF will be a celebration for all involved!
Looking foreward meeting you in January,
Your IKF Team
