ZIRKUS ON
Theatre 2 | Tue, 19:30 – 20:30
Zirkus ON is a broad-based creation program that provides artists from the contemporary circus with comprehensive and sustainable support in the development of their own pieces. For two years, the artists receive support and protected spaces to develop, try out and implement innovative formats and ideas. The creation program of Zirkus ON is made possible within the framework of the program "Promoting Connections" of the Federal Association of Independent Performing Arts, which is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. At the 35th IKF 2023 Zirkus ON presents these artists:
Kathrin Wagner - I Was Told - Change: Not applicable
I Was Told is a 50-60 minute interdisciplinary piece of ring juggling and slam poetry, which deals with the influence of language in the literal and figurative sense, on the perception of self and others. The artist Kathrin Wagner deals with the emerging identity conflict in an authentic, honest, humorous and empowering way. It is suitable for indoor venues.
Knot on Hands - Brace for Impact
Knot on Hands is a contemporary partner acrobatics trio featuring Britt Timmermans from the Netherlands, Mario Kunzi from Germany and Tijs Bastiaens from Belgium. They strive to take acrobatics in a new direction with a focus on the physical vocabulary of the three bodies.
In Brace for Impact, Knot on Hands explore what it means for them to be together on a path they don't yet know where it will lead them. Duration of the performance: 25-30 minutes

Luksan Wunder - WTFM 100,Null
Theatre 2 | Mon, 20:00 - 22:00
"WTFM 100,Null" works just like Luksan Wunder's videos and successful podcast show: Gags and formats are fired at an astoundingly high rate, sometimes crude, sometimes subtle, sometimes strange - sometimes music, sometimes video, sometimes sketch. The allusive humour swims in the stormy Bermuda triangle of postmodernism, puberty and parody. Thematically, the whole thing meanders from pseudo-philosophical under-the-shower thoughts to viral phenomena and net culture to improper observations of society and everyday life. The entire show is thus like reaching into a grab bag, and a grab bag at that, aimed at a very diverse target group: You never know what you're going to get next, praline or gonorrhoea.
