31 oversized playing cards come to life in the hands of the handstand artist as

they  awaken memories of an ancient, mysterious story. The storytale explores the origin of the playing cards and tells of the wealth of knowledge and how it can be preserved from oblivion. The wooden tarot cards show the way, as they represent ancient wisdom that is explored with the audience. Together with the audience, a pyramid is gradually built, step by step, growing higher and higher, whilst the artist balances on the playing cards. The cards thereby become props for handstand artistic and moreover metaphorically resemble images of life: unstable yet stable, full of meaning and movement.

The construction and deconstruction of the fragile structure invites spectators of all ages to marvel and participate.
