The German-Swiss satirical duo “Hart auf Hart” (Elisabeth Hart & Rhaban Straumann) enchants audiences with linguistic and theatrical precision. A satirical play. Absolutely political. “Sie sagen Stopp” (You say stop) is already the third touring program with their unique, idiosyncratic style, following “Wollen Sie wippen?” (Do you want to seesaw?) and “Bis wann gibt es Frühstück?” (Until when is breakfast served?). Two people, two mentalities, one everyday life. The authors tell of real and impossible encounters. He is Swiss, she is German. For her and him, it becomes a journey through human abysses with occasional flights of fancy due to linguistic and mental differences. Poetic, astonishing, and full of little surprising twists. Highly playful, convincingly acted, linguistically inspiring, grippingly clever, and at times wicked.
