A moving spectacle covering the entire spectrum of human emotions. A virtuoso interplay of sand painting, shadow play, butoh dance, double bass, gongs, and electronics. Magnificent, colorful, and whimsical, the audience is seduced by ever-changing realities. Whether open air on facades or indoors, INTO THE LIGHT thrills with its expressive body language. Bathed in light, accompanied by her own meter-long shadows, the dancer interacts with live sand paintings that, with great radiance, sometimes wildly, sometimes with the finest nuances, open up new perspectives. In a sonic atmosphere between the whispering scratching of gongs and rich double bass, the artists merge and rub against each other in constant interplay. In this finely spun dramaturgy, there is room for improvisation to respond individually to local conditions.
