Actually, Matthias Walz is a really nice guy. It's only when something gets him worked up that he can get quite angry. And there's a lot that gets him worked up, especially in politics. As the star of "Fastnacht in Franken," the highest-rated program on all the regional public television channels in Germany, Matthias Walz regularly gives the assembled political elite a piece of his mind. The result is collective gasping: among the politicians, because they have to put on a brave face, and among the rest of the audience, because they're practically falling off their chairs laughing. In his equally political and entertaining stage show, "The Evil Man at the Piano", the man in the green suit, casually lounging at the piano, musically delivers his brilliant thoughts, making his audience laugh with wit, charm, and intelligence – and sometimes even giving them food for thought.
