How did we possibly manage to survive so long on this planet?! Vulcanoes tried, the plague tried, we even try it ourselves with war and murder and Eurovision song contets… but we survive as a species. Undeserved and unapologetic. But honestly: “blood, sweat and tears” is passé! It’s time that mammals give up their leading role on this planet. In today’s society, you have to become cold-blooded in order to survive. Sense and nonsense, love and death, coincidence and malice: in “REPTILE”, Jane Mumford straddles these opposing poles blurring the lines of cabaret, comedy and performance. From her first time crawling onto a stage in 2014 to premiering her first solo in 2021, her evolution has led her through the swamps of varietyshows and cabaret all the way to a nomination for the Swiss Comedy Award.
